Pokémon spinoff game idea

I had a pretty fun chat with a friend, but we more or less just thought of a Shadow of the Colossus-like game involving the Gigantimax Pokémon.

Short story is that you're in a city where these Giant Pokémon roam around and have a task to make sure everything works well. All is well as you're the newest addition to a team of Gigantimax Handlers, but a new, unknown team uses helicopters that attach some strange devices to the giant Pokemon. In mere moments, the once docile Pokémon start to attack the city, and everyone hides in some underground bunkers. When everything is clear, you exit out of your bunker to see the city is in ruin, and your chief has given you the order to go out and save the city's giant Pokémon from those devices, as they'll be able to help rebuild the city, and learn who dropped those devices that made the Pokémon go berserk.
