Well... as it probably has become abundantly clear since I made my last post, the glimmer of a possibility I talked about there didn't materialize. And then I went without talking for quite some time after I posted it.

So... once more, a year ends, and another begins.
Both for the world at large, and for me on this site specifically. And again, I look back at the year that just ended and think back on how it was for me on this site.

I don’t know what kind of pendulum I'm on, because I swear that lately I've been swinging from crazy productive to apathetic as everything.

That said... regarding the corrected warning I made in my last blog post, I'd like to announce that I already have the title for my adaptation of Issue 26 of the Friends Forever IDW comics.

It's titled Revamped Tale: A Visit to the Highest Kingdom.

As suggested by the title, the issue it is adapting, and what I already revealed in Chapters of a Revamped Tome, it’s about the first diplomatic mission to Yakyakistan since the Crystal Empire's return and King Sombra’s defeat.

However, expect to see its fair share of differences, both when it comes to the comic issue and other expanded universe elements.

Giving a bit of a spoiler to whoever may need the reassurance, this is not set or meant to be a grimdark fic. It will take some things less lightly than the original issue, and some of the backstory will contain darker elements than the original issues and show, but the basic outcome and the canon characters' overall personalities should be largely the same, with one exception that hopefully will still be recognizable enough as his canon self.
