Hello Everypony!
Drako Moon here with a quick update to FoE: Falling Shadows, Now i know you all've been wondering what's been going on and why we haven't done much for the Story over the past six to nine months. Well I'm here to update you on what i can and to say that YES Shadow and her friends are still a big part of my life and close to my heart as always. The Story is still being worked on just very slowly until now.
Back in May of 2021 I had a huge opportunity in my life that i had to jump at. That was a New job that brought up my pay a huge amount. unfortunately it required me to make a move. this Move took me over 100 miles away from the house i've been living in with my Brother and family for the past ten years. I went into the longest process of my life and the most stressful as well. I started buying my very first house, but at the same time i had to start my new job during this time so for over four months i was living in my camper with very little internet available to me. I was also away from the people and things that make my life happy so i was in a slight depression mixed with a whole lot of stress. If you've never bought a house before then you wouldn't understand the stress with getting your first place, even more when you're starting a whole new job on a new schedule. So, i did my best to get some work done on Falling Shadows on my own, but being away from Stardust (My Brother, Co-Writer and Best Friend) it wasn't easy without him to throw idea's off of easily. Yeah, i know, i could have talked with him over the phone and bumped idea's back and forth, but for a creative mind like mine and his, it doesn't work as well when you're not around one another. We managed to get one chapter done, and i think it came out okay, but it took me a lot longer than normal to do.
At the same time, my depression was getting to me and as i started to think about working on Chapter 70, all i could think about was more and more bad shit for our hero Shadow. Normally this isn't such a bad thing for a FoE story, but as you all know, a lot of bad shit has been happening to Shadow as of late also Chapter 70 is supposed to be the beginning of the final arch of our Story and i couldn't let my bad mood and depression mess with what Stardust and I have built over the past few years. also you all as out readers and fans didn't deserve that either. So when i finally was able to close and move in to my new place alone with my family, i decided to take a small break from even trying to write Chapter 70 until we finished moving out of the old place and into the new and get settled in a little.
Now, as of Today, my computer, desk, and office are all set up again. i have my Falling Shadows Pic's up again, i feel good and even though my new job keeps me busier than my old one did. Thing's are looking up and i'm happy again. So i restarted chapter 70, and it's time to get back into Shadow's world and into the world Stardust and I have built and we both love so much. As i said before, this is leading up to our end. there's still a lot to go, questions to be answered, enemies to fight, and Star Spawn to take down. So, thank you all, for sticking with us, for understanding how hard this past year has been, and as always for helping us make Falling Shadows such a wonderful thing to work on and for making us both love bringing you all this Fucked up world of Fallout Equestria. Stick with us to the end because you won't want to miss what happens in between. And as always...
