The Night's Stars Chapter 47 Preview/Teaser · 7:13pm Jan 6th, 2022
The tentative release date for The Night’s Stars chapter 47, “Bide” is in one week, on 1/13/22, at ~5 P.M. E.S.T.
I have no idea what to say here.
Drafting is slow going, edits nigh-nonexistent. Pretty sure I need to go back and draft a chapter between 47 and 48, or alternatively, edit chapter 48 to include another scene or two which may be out of place. Chapter 74+75 are being a pain to make work. Really, chapter 70+. Oh the slow burn, oh the role reversal, oh the sub-arcs...
Without further ado, presented below are a series of excerpts from Bide. Speaking of, I still need to edit out the in-text author’s notes on edits and add a missing space. Now watch me forget to do both.
"She is, but there's a saying. Perhaps you're familiar with it, given your previous work experience.
"We're replaceable."
Thorax's eyes twitched and his wings jittered. "Why do her eyes do that thing when she says research?"
"Your Majesty, I regret to inform you that Steel Bar has been recalled to the Minotaur Empire."
Nightmare’s grimace returned and she met Cadance gaze. "I know, which is why I would like to attempt to prepare her for it.
Nightmare sighed and looked at the telescope. "Perhaps at one time," she mused. "I believe Luna would have, but..."

Why yes, this chapter has been written for over a year at this point. The good news is, having briefly skimmed over this chapter, I have a new idea to include in chapter 76 which is quite helpful. I can even set it up in chapter 75, which is even more helpful because chapter 75 is annoying.
