I have decided that I need to remove chapter 2 and start over. It was never meant to be a part of the story, it was just something fun I thought of and improvised my way through. I now realize that by adding Rainbow Dash, I've written myself into a corner because I have no idea what to do with her. I should have stuck with my original plan instead of adding something new on a whim. The original version of chapter 2, which doesn't involve Ponyville or Rainbow Dash, has already been written, it just needs to be edited.

I had a really fun time writing the 'fight' between Rainbow, Rex and Spot, but unfortunately, it just doesn't fit. Maybe one day I can use that scene in a different story, who knows.
