Debating about Starting to Write Stories. · 6:20pm Dec 29th, 2021
I've always loved reading and editing fanficion, yet I've never posted my own story. I think this is due to the fact that when I was younger and started to write my first story on paper that I planned to upload, my step-mother saw it and decided I shouldn't be writing about ponies and threw it into a paper shredder. Ever since then I've never worked up the courage to write again.
And yet, I daydream so much about making up new stories all day everyday when I'm not distracted with Youtube or playing games to pass time. I've got dozens of story ideas and hundreds more that have been forgotten to time. I'm currently debating whether to get back to writing or not. I've got 2 stories currently in my mind that I'm working on in my head and I would love to post them, yet I want to be able to finish them and not leave them unfinished like 90% of all my favorite stories on Fimfiction.
One story has to do with Sweetie-Belle becoming Sombra's adopted daughter, where Sweetie-Belle's parents had died when she was young and Sombra decides to watch over her while she still lives the normal life of a pony. No one can find out about him and the fact the Sweetie-Belle is learning how to use dark magic.
The other story is my original piece I tried to write all those years ago when I was younger, where back at the Canterlot wedding between Cadence and Shining, Twilight, instead of crying and being sent to the Crystal Caverns by Chrysalis, becomes angry at everyone betraying her and leaving her for a princess they don't even know and lets of a mass random teleport spell just to get away. Little did she know that she would come across a cave far up north where inside lies King Sombra trapped in a magic crystal. [This will also be a romance between Sombra and Twilight]
I might get around to writing them but I'm not entire sure if I will keep up to date on it and finish posting the story. Who knows?
Sounds like some good ideas
No one in my family knows that I write stories, and have account here on fimfiction and a couple of other sites. I write in secret. I'm sorry that happened to you when you tried writing a story. You're great at editing, and I think you'll be great at writing stories. Actually, I don't think so. I know so!
And those sound like great ideas.
