Small Review Over Home Alone

So yeah... Home Alone 6 is a thing now...

Yeah, it's clear that when it comes to making sequels, franchises tend to go to a downwards spiral. Home Alone and Lost In New York were the classics, and any other movie afterward just can't compete with it. Home Alone 3 tried its best, Home Alone 4 was a mess, Home Alone 5 was at least competent compared to 4, and 6... well... erm...

So instead of talking about each movie and why they were the best or worst in my books (I literally lost interest in HA6 in the first few minutes and decided to watch Ice Age instead), I want to ask you guys a question.

If you were to make a true Home Alone movie, what would the plot be about? Would it be releasing HA3 earlier and have the original cast still perform? Would it be a legacy movie like HA6 was meant to be, but better? I saw some Youtube comments that had some cool plots, and we can't forget the Home Alone Google Commercial. If I were to incorporate it to my rankings, easily above 4 and 6, and tied with 3 and 5 simply due to the fact that it's just a 1-minute ad and it literally repeats HA 1 but with Kevin as an adult. But at the same time that just shows how things have gone downwards for the franchise.

If you're going to watch HA, just watch 1,2. If you're somehow bored, watch 3 and 5 and learn to appreciate the first two, and please, don't torture yourself watching 4 and 6.
