Part 3- Problematic Strategies

Yeah sorry this wasn't up two days ago. I was kinda tired so yea. I really didn't know if I was gonna be comfortable with posting this at first either but I mean I probably put my social security number in one of the 250+ posts so really who cares at this point.

And also me posting my high school drama hopefully won't be a regular thing but this whole situation (and anything involving Hailey really) is such a mindf*ck that it'd be a crime to not talk about it. Also all names are always changed in my posts.

So once again this all started as a pretty normal day. I had finished groveling to Olive for forgiveness for standing up for myself and telling people true things and we were standing outside the school. I was trying to make conversation but it was pretty obvious that she was waiting for someone and she was being kinda dismissive. And thus I took my leave. Everything was calm and I was somewhat looking forward to the weekend.

Then I get a call.

This call was from my partner whom will henceforth be called Aiden. Now we're both really busy so we don't really ever call without confirming with the other person ahead of time. Which made this even more weird. I was sitting in the front seat with my dad right next to me so I decided to decline the call and try and figure out what was going on through text.

Now, both Olive and Hailey dated Aiden in the past, and he did have sort of a f*ckboy streak going on in these days. Neither of them can get their story straight so I haven't the slightest what their true problem was with him. But both of them, especially Olive, absolutely hated him. And I could accept that and I promised that they never had to interact, but Olive was always talking about taking the situation into her hands. And before we get into the next part, I'd like to remind everyone that I am, indeed, no longer 13.

I identify as bi-romantic asexual (just think bi but no desire to be intimate with anyone). Aiden identifies as straight. This can be a problem during certain times, and there have been some questionable things said a couple of times, and you know that's all that's going to be said about that cuz it's my business and I'd like to keep this a fairly family friendly space (says that person who used talk about game ending on a weekly basis). But yeah, problematic things have been said. Maybe I'll talk about it someday, but that day is not today.

Anyway, so I was telling Olive about these kinda things, you know when I thought I could trust her, and she said herself that she was going to personally take care of this.

And I literally told her not to.

I don't like people getting involved in my problems. It creates a game of telephone and yada yada someone misses something important or takes things too far and suddenly something like this happens.

The other issue was that Aiden was asking me to do something (non-sexual) that just from the description he gave me was going to trigger my ptsd. Which is not fun but at least he stopped bringing it up after a couple times asking. And Olive asked why it made me uncomfortable and she hella misunderstood what I was saying. And I am absolutely sure I clarified why exactly the idea wasn't appealing. And it wasn't because I was m*lested. Because I wasn't. Like I'm sick of people saying that the only people who can have trauma are people who were victims to physical or sexual abuse or war veterans. It's insulting in multiple ways. But I digress.

And now that you know some important exposition backstory, let's actually get into what happened. So Hailey and Olive were both yelling st Aiden in the middle of a crowded gym calling him a r*pist. And Olive had chased him out of the gym, down the long hallway leading out of the gym, only stopping when he ran into the men's locker room. Now, naturally other people had heard about this since Olive literally made a scene, and there was an adult trying to investigate. So whichever one of them wasn't talking to the lady was talking to me on the phone. I had told Olive in the kindest and meekest way possible that this is beyond inappropriate and just about the dumbest thing one could do, and I really didn't care what the intentions were because she actively went against my wishes. Good intentions can pave the way to hell you know.

And Aiden was also mad, mostly at Olive and the whole situation rather than at me. At some point he had gotten called to talk to the police officer that was apparently there now (though I really shouldn't have been surprised) and Olive was talking to the lady. I had tried telling her to to the lady that this is all stupid and I want it to stop, but that obviously wasn't working. So I told her to let me speak to the lady, and then I told her that this is all stupid and I want it to stop. And I really don't know why that wasn't enough to end it, cuz who was stopping me from spilling if I had anything to spill? The 'abuser' was literally in a room with a police officer and I was at home. What was there stopping me from telling the truth? But no.

So then I called Aiden back, and he was telling me about how he was interviewed and I tried getting him to let me speak to the police officer but apparently that was a difficult talk so he just put me on speakerphone. And so I explained, again, that this is all stupid and everyone needs to go home (I feel that I should make it known that I'm definitely paraphrasing and I didn't actually speak to anyone that way). And sure enough, that was finally enough. After some 'are you sures?', they finally left my people alone. I asked both of them and after making sure I wasn't going to be called down first thing monday morning to give a testimony, I finally somewhat calmed down.

So that was a trip.

Well it's Tuesday night as of me typing this and I have yet to have heard about it from anyone so I think I'm good. Can we just talk about how I got full control of the situation over the phone cuz that was kinda cool.

I apologized to Aiden for the whole situation and I got a full apology from him, none from Olive, I never spoke to Haliey about any of it. Though her role was more passive from what I've heard, and really I don't care to hear from her anymore anyway.

Sorry this took kinda long to be out its not really fun to talk about so yeah. To make up for it everything that happened today could count as a chapter 4. So keep an eye out for that. We get lots of heart to heart conversations and the truth over everything may have been finally revealed...
