So I've been streaming anime on Tubi and am halfway into an anime completely revolving around baking bread. Yes. An anime about bread.
And it's actually interesting and funny! It mixes comedy with cooking, and a dose of corporate intrigue! I've never encountered an anime like it.
Anyway, what would be an anime without competitions? Sooooo, given the contests get weirder and the reactions to the supreme breads more outlandish, I was thinking one bread would be sooo good it... RIPS OPEN A PORTAL TO EQUESTRIA!! And then, the bakers of Pantasia's Southern Branch must help the baker's of Equestria defeat Queen Chrysalis' EEEEEEVIL plan to take over ZA WARDO in a global baking contest to determine who will own Equestria.... since Celestia ran up a huge national debt (from eating too many expensive cakes) to Chrysalis' financial front corporation 'Diabolically Evil Banking Of Restaurants And Horticulture' (D.E.B.O.R.A.H.) which is run by an EEEEEVIL board of directors Sombra, Tirek, Grogar.... and DISCORD! (Yes, he betrays the ponies AGAIN! But then turns good AGAIN! Only to betray them AGAIN! Only to turn good AGAIN! .... This would happen, like, 6 times in the story. 
) And it turns out that they're ALSO incredible bakers! Because plot reasons! Shut up!
Celestia herself is also a master baker. Indeed, she's really hot at it, and master bake's furiously when no pony is watching (snicker 
), but doesn't want anyone to know so she wears an ornate white mask and cape which totally fools everyone, and she has Philomena hidden behind the mask, and sends her out to do espionage on the various villains during the competition.
The part of the evil sister Yukino would have a PERFECT parallel with Chrysalis. They are so similar it's eerie. So, naturally that means Chrysalis is Celestia and Luna's sister! (Half-sister.... Celly and Loony's dad got really wasted and had a fling with a xenomorph.)
Will the Pantasia crew be able to teach the Equestrian bakers the Hooves of the Sun techniques and create the Bread of the Gods to SAVE THE WORLD?
So, since I'm the worst combination of too busy and too lazy to write this whole insane thing out, one of you get really drunk and do it! When I get drunk I just fall asleep, so that's no good. I lack the drinking skills to do good word... arranging... things...
Also, about Tubi.... go watch anime there. You just make an account and it's FREE! Just one little block of commercials per episode, and they're much shorter than Youtube's are now. Tubi has a couple hundred anime series now, and keeps adding more! I watched all 4 seasons of Jojo's, One Punch Man, Bleach, and a bunch of other small series and movies. Tubi also has "Akira". The GOOD dubbed version of it!
Yeah, I like bringing up that particular series whenever parodies of shonen come up. Because that's the high concept of Yakitate Ja-Pan: take your standard shonen series (ie. Dragon Ball Z), replace the fighting with baking, and leave everything else exactly the same. Yes, it ends up being more ridiculous than shonen already was, but that's the whole point.
