    Pretty Jackie

A quickie featuring everyone's favorite country pony. s/o Aquatic Vibes for the art - and ScandiBeats for the rhythm. Both provided a creative spark that led to this poem taking shape.

    I hardly knew you,
Then you really grew on me,

    Flooded and Drowned

Now for something rather dark and solemn. This depicts a scenario after Sunny Starscout gets in a violent physical altercation with ponies who betrayed her, is knocked unconscious, and thrown into the sea. Based off of AssasinMonkey's art, and inspired by Xhydralisk's comment on it. Paraphrased a few lines from his poem for the last three lines of

    Such a Beautiful World

I see tall trees of green,
    Bright berries too,
    I shall pick a few,
    For me and you,
    And I think to myself,
    Such a beautiful world…

    I look up and see,
    Amongst clouds of white
    Pegasi flying free,
    The earth ponies wave goodnight,
    And I think to myself,
    Such a beautiful world…

    The shapes of the cones
With ice cream sweet as pie,
    Are also on the heads,
    Of unicorns trotting by,

Hero to Zero - A Sprout Poem

With a cluster of coddling and egotistic incompetence,
Are the acts of a cult leader any coincidence?
I tried so hard to be a blind hero,
Now there's destruction, and I'm back to zero.

Emerging from the dust of chaos's aftermath,
Dismissed and exiled, now where is the right path?
Three tribes hug together as warmly besties,
As I'm drowning in the waters of my own insecurities.

A Letter and A Wish - A Sunny Starscout Poem

    Amidst the fear and division,
We hold fast to a mission,
An idea springs like a fish,
With a letter and a wish,
    To make friends peacefully,
    To communicate in harmony.

    You gaze,
As it floats up in the sky,
Held by a lantern so high,
    Through your little shining eyes,
We made a message of love to show,
Yet not knowing where it'll go.

Somewhere, in a forest far away,

Hero to Zero - A Sprout Poem · 2:47am Nov 20th, 2021

With a cluster of coddling and egotistic incompetence,
Are the acts of a cult leader any coincidence?
I tried so hard to be a blind hero,
Now there's destruction, and I'm back to zero.

Emerging from the dust of chaos's aftermath,
Dismissed and exiled, now where is the right path?
Three tribes hug together as warmly besties,
As I'm drowning in the waters of my own insecurities.

The rising feels are up to my neck,
As my lips expel a final vent and beck.
Hoping they hear my call,
Ringing out, before an inevitable fall.

A quickie inspired by Imalou's art.
