Long Distance
As you may have noticed, I released chapter 7 of Long Distance recently. Were I to separate the story into parts as well as chapters, chapter 7 would mark the end of part 1 (of 3 or possibly 4, depending). So I guess that's an achievement (yay).
Chapter 8 might take a little longer to come out than most of the other chapters up to this point, because I've got to figure out a whole bunch of things before I can even start writing it. Considering I've managed to release seven chapters in about five weeks, I think that's not such a bad thing.
I've also got a few ideas for some shorter stories that tie into Long Distance, and I may get around to writing those sometime in the future. Keep an eye on my profile page.
Something of interest
Anyone who's reading my friend TheLunarArmy's Tale of Kyuubidash (a story that I am editing) may have noticed a familiar face in the latest chapter (number 8). Yes, I lent him White Noise. Does this means our stories are canon with each other? No.
Well, not officially. If you want to fanwank details in your headcanon to make the two fics work together, feel free to do that. It's not too difficult at this stage, because neither of our stories are complete. However, it's possible (likely, in fact) that contradictions will crop up as our stories progress. So, for the sake of not needing to write around stuff, I'm declaring alternate universes.
Besides, the White Noise in his story has two speech bubbles for a cutie mark, whereas mine only has one. We discussed this when he did that awesome fanart you can find at the bottom of chapter one. I'm not sure which looks better, but having only one is nicer from a writing perspective.
tl;dr: Kyuubidash and LD share a common universe if you can fanwank the details together, but if you can't/don't want to then they don't.
