Submitted a new story this morning. I know for a lot of people following me, this might not be their cup of hot cider.

    On Storytelling

    (Source)

Good advice for anyone on here, and also how I feel about the MLP comic's recent conclusion.

So my last story is still in post-production but it is a multimedia experience as well as a collaboration and it will be done when it is done.

    Ping

Like the melodic chirrup of a bat, I break the silence to sound out where all of my friends and followers are. Ahm.

Next Story Drafted & Some Craft Talk (11 Rules for Writing Stories)

First bit of business is that in spite of my alarming radio silence aside from the occasional jib post, I've been hard at work on my next story! And studying. But mostly.. uh, mostly studying. I'll be a little more proactive after my examination, which incidentally is a full day of testing that starts about 2 hours after the season finale airs. Hurrah?

    (From THE SONNETS TO ORPHEUS)

    I, 2

And it was almost a girl who, stepping from
this single harmony of song and lyre,
appeared to me through her diaphonous form
and made herself a bed inside my ear.

And slept in me. Her sleep was everything:
the awesome trees, the distances I had felt
so deeply that I could touch them, meadows in spring:
all wonders that had ever seized my heart.

Technically EoA2 came with 'First Victory'. Not that I actually explicitly break down and plan the story around this, but I think i can find the crude parts if you looked at it in film theory. It also falls in with the 'middle' being most of the work. But then, this is a novel, not a film. And apparently has eclipsed 400 pages, which puts it 12 pages shy of the longest thing I've ever written. And it's probably already the best. I'm not sure how to feel about that. . .

I'm already embroiled in finals week. Most of you probably already know that. Still, putting it out there in case anyone missed it and is like 'why the hay aren't you updating'? Worry not. I get the feeling this will be done in December, and I mean it this time, because the remaining chapters are few enough I can count them in short order. Plus Winter Break starts soon, and .. hn? What's that Cadence?

Oh... oh gosh, no. I'm so sorry for this. I promise I'll make it up to you.
