The Current Status and Future of my Generation 5 Analyses

The announcement that all of Generation 5, not just the Movie that will start it but also the Generation 5 Show, will be animated in full CGI had me, albeit subconsciously, question whether I still want to analyze Generation 5 and all the news about it as deeply as I said I will before the announcement on February 25th. Even my optimistic words in this blog entry from two months ago weren't followed up by more Generation 5 analyses, so hard was the mental block caused by the imagination of having to see Equestria in Generation 5 in full CGI animation instead of traditional animation.
I never decided to turn my back on Generation 5 for good, nor to stop with Generation 5 analyses entirely, but to make an analysis with each news about Generation 5 that releases was made next to impossible by the announcement of Generation 5's new animation style. Nonetheless, I won't stop.

I needed time to digest that Generation 5 is going to be animated exclusively in full CGI and to "get over it", as they say. And this took much more time than I imagined and anticipated. But this shock over Generation 5's CGI animation was part of the experience, for me, the traditional animation in Generation 4 always made me feel physically close to the ponies we see in the show, as said shock on February 25th made me realize, a feeling that full CGI cannot deliver. And because it was a part of the experience just like anything else that has to do with Generation 5, I will still analyze everything about Generation 5 that I intend to analyze.

Due to my CGI shock, I am several months behind on my public Generation 5 analyses. Some of the theories and predictions I have made while I kept tabs on Generation 5 news and analyzed them inside my head will feel outdated to read now, as certain information we got has already confirmed or debunked them by now, which creates the unfortunate situation that I can't timestamp prove anymore that they have been made by me before they were confirmed or debunked in a Generation 5 news.

But it was always easier for me to dive into something deeply if I write it down, rather than just keeping it inside the constraints of my skull, and a deep exploration of everything we learn about Equestria's distant future that we will see in Generation 5 is very important to me, as the fact that Generation 5 is a sequel to Friendship is Magic offers me a chance to do everything that I didn't do during Generation 4. And there are a lot of theories and predictions I have to share about things that are still completely up in the air and that are, even with the trailer, still a mystery to all of us.

So with all that in mind, I will still publicly write down the Generation 5 analyses that I have already sitting inside my head and release them here, in the final weeks that lead up to the start of Generation 5. In the worst case, I will begin Generation 5 a little later than everyone else, having it all properly explored before I actually watch the Generation 5 Movie that will start it all is the most important to me. But I don't think it will come that far and I expect to be up-to-date before September 24th.

My plan is to release one Generation 5 analysis per day, until I am caught up. The first new analysis, of the first two Generation 5 screenshots, will be released either today or tomorrow.
