Seeing the trailer to the G5 movie

I just watched the G5 movie trailer and it is pretty cute. Right away, the characters and animation looks really good with their fluffy coats, detailed hair, and gorgeous colors. If you want an example of how bad G5's character designs could have looked, look no further than Filly Funtasia with its ugly character proportions and creepy faces. If you don't know what Filly Funtasia is, here's an article. I do like how much personality the writers managed to put into the characters in this trailer. I'm going to be quoting this trailer for a while.

"UNICORN ATTACK!"
"We'll need glitter. Lots of glitter."
"I don't play, I win."
"I think you'll find I'm average height."

LOL! This movie looks fun. Although, like some people, I do have some concerns about how this show will fit into MLP:FiM. Supposedly, this show takes place centuries into the future, which raises the possibility that ponies might have access to modern technology, and for the record, I hated seeing the ponies using social media and the internet in Pony Life. I also wonder how Equestria--a land that had earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi living together in harmony--would divide all of a sudden. How did that happen without the windegos freezing everything? Also, what happened to Twilight and the other princesses? Was there a catastrophe? Are the characters in another dimension or another planet? I assume all these questions will be answered in the movie, but if it doesn't, I might be disappointed.
