Greetings, my wonderful friends! This is Mr. J with another movie review for today! For this evening’s Disney Friday review, I will be reviewing one of the most iconic and classic Pixar films in the history of classic animated films: WALL-E. Behold, a beloved childhood fantasy flick, folks! I remember how adorable and cute WALL-E was back when I watched it the first time and how he always reminded me of Transformers. Because, y’know, he turns into a box every now and then. Anyway, even to this very day, that little cutie bot has always been one of my favorite characters in Pixar.

This story is about the titular garbage robot being left alone in an abandoned, unpopulated planet Earth filled with humongous pillars of garbage left behind. He cleans up the planet with absolutely no one to help him (except for the little cockroach he somehow befriended way back). Life was fairly much boring and lonely for him until a certain fembot arrives and searches for any signs of life. EVE eventually meets with WALL-E where a dynamic and unpredictable relationship soon develops.

I gotta admit that the plot and the characters were really interesting as well as the various settings in which the story takes place. Here you have all the things that are left of Earth, and you also have a flying ship containing all the humans who have gotten corpulent due to the laziness and the microgravity they’ve been heavily relying on.

To me, the robots were more interesting to me than the human characters. Every little word they utter here and there were adorable and unique at best... especially M-O. It’s really awesome to see WALL-E changing their lives and showing them living proof of Earth still bearing forth life such as a simple plant.

The choreography is great, the animation is splendid, and the dialogue is quite solid. Props to Ben Burtt for voicing both WALL-E and M-O, Elissa Knight for voicing EVE, and Jeff Garlin for voicing Captain B. McCrea. I loved seeing Fred Willard having fun as Shelby Forthright. May he rest in peace. 😔 Again, I miss his terrific acting.

If there is one thing I learned from this movie, it’s that laziness and unhealthy habits can do a number on our bodies and health. Always gotta exercise regularly, maintain a healthy diet, and never let your muscles atrophy away, am I right?

Overall, this movie is funny, well-written, insightful, and truly inspiring to always look for the positive things in life that can motivate us to work hard and be there for those we love and care for. With that said, I’ll give this a 9/10.

Peace!

A life lesson to live by.

I loved that movie as a kid, I even had an RC WALL-E toy

Nice movie. There was an alternative scene where Eve was broken in the garbage Shute… but Wall-E being like that is better.

It’s funny, really. For some reason, I haven’t been watching this movie as often as many others. The times I did, though, were ones that filled me with absolute joy.

I actually have “Wall-E” in mind to review for the 2022 “February Festivity”, mainly since the romance between Wall-E and EVE plays such a big part in the overall story.

I adore this robot romance movie. It´s so cute :rainbowkiss:
