Rule of Fourths has now reached its 7th rewrite. Is that a new record? I have no idea. I'm going to leave it on hiatus for a while longer until it's beaten into shape a bit more. I'm still not happy with the writing, it's kind of dull and doesn't flow well. Reading all the great stories on this site has kind of destroyed the idea that my writing is even close to acceptable... seriously, just read something like Background Pony and then try to slog your way through my story! I'm halfway through the first chapter with this rewrite and I think it's a lot better. Still not nearly where I want it to be, but if I kept working on it until I was really happy with it, I'd be here until Applejack sprouted wings...
I should also mention that I'm working on a second story, one that I think all of you are going to enjoy. The subject has been mentioned before but frankly I'm amazed it isn't a lot more popular. It seems so obvious. It's some of my best writing (partly because I'm so familiar with the subject). Look for it soon!
Also I rearranged my profile page a bit to feature some of the best stories I've read - like First Pony View. And stats. I made some stats.
