It celebrates stories where a supporting character gains so much popularity that the author writes a sequel for them. You probably know a few. There's School of Hard Knocks, a wonderful story about the adventures of what was supposed to be a mere background OC character in Why am I Pinkie Pie?!. Then there's The Life and Times of a Winning Pony, inspired by Cloud Kicker's unique characterization in The Incredibly Dense Mind of Rainbow Dash. There are many others, undiscovered or forgotten.
