    R.I.P. Mr. Akira Toriyama

Just found out that the creator of the Dragon Ball series has passed away from a health complication. He was only in his late 60s when he passed on. In my honest he was taken far too soon.

Give respect and tribute to this man who has left a legacy within the anime, manga, and video game community. :applecry::pinkiesad2:

ECW Hardcore Heaven 1994 "Can We Borrow A Chair?" · 6:42am Jul 27th, 2021

Ah, 90s was the great part of my childhood. And there's a lot of things I miss from this era. Like for example tv wrestling entertainment. Back when the WWE used be called WWF and the ECW used to be around. Back when wrestling entertainment used to be over the top and at some points quite violent. One of my favorite star wrestlers was Mick Foley, aka Castus Jack, Mankind, and Dude Love.

This was one match in ECW Hardcore Heaven 1994. An event that took place so long ago that it was when the E in ECW still stood for Eastern and not Extreme. It was also one of Foley's most iconic moments in wrestling. Foley and Terry Funk went one on one in the show's main event but there was no winner since Public Enemy interfered and the match was thrown out. Foley and Funk fought back against the attack and asked for the crowd's help. These two hardcore legends signaled for the fans to throw a few steel chairs into the ring. Unfortunately, things got out of hand quickly. When the fans kinda got overzealous. More than a few fans granted Foley and Funk's wish as Public Enemy literally got buried in chairs. Hell, one fan even threw a trash can into the ring as well! Eventually, Funk and Foley have to leave the ring and someone off camera repeatedly shouts down the mic asking fans to stop throwing chairs into the ring.

Man, oh man... Eight year old little me was ROFLMFAO! That shit was outrageous, hilarious, and amazing! :pinkiecrazy::rainbowlaugh::rainbowkiss:

That whole incident wasn't part of the script. It was actually a scary moment in wrestling history and perhaps a close miracle that no one was seriously hurt. Especially if you watch right until the end to see one half of Public Enemy leap up and launch a chair back over his shoulders, presumably into the crowd. It may also have been a sign of what was to come. It was the year Paul Heyman took control of ECW and just weeks before it officially became wrestling's extreme brand. He made into something no one had ever seen before and also into something that will never be forgotten.

Well, I tell you one thing you don't see this sort of thing in today's modern televised wrestling entertainment. WWE is sort of a hit or miss and completely dulled down in recent years. But hey...that's why we have YouTube and other media steaming sites, right? :twilightsheepish:

I may not be a huge wrestling fan, but even I have to admit that this is freaking hilarious! :rainbowlaugh:

Yeah, that's understandable and to be honest I haven't watched the newer stuff on WWE. I simply stop watching because nowadays they made it boring and dulled as hell. One most of the great wrestling superstars left for whatever reason. It just wasn't the same anymore.

But yeah even if you're not a fan of wrestling entertainment. You have to look up match that involved Mick Foley. Because this guy was hardcore as hell. He did everything for the audience's entertainment. Even if it mean he was literally bleeding in the ring or losing several teeth or in one incident part of his right ear. This guy took a beating and just kept going.

Don't believe me? Than watch this YouTube video of his most wildest moments in his wrestling career. Man, the 90s were crazy I tell ya.

Uh, wow. Now I'm speechless

5562160
Yeah. That was so awesome!:rainbowkiss:

And thats not all. Here's a vid of Mick Foley's wildest moments.

5562169
Yeah. But gives ya a reason to like Mick Foley. That's one hardcore SOB.:pinkiecrazy:

5562171
i met mick Foley once three years ago

5562176
Really? No shit?! Man, you are so lucky dude. No seriously that's fucking awesome! :rainbowkiss:

5562177
yeah he was in my hometown talking about his famous hell in a cell match with the undertaker

5562178
Oh man that match was the stuff of legends. Mick Foley just kept going despite his injuries. I mean fuck man his tooth went through his lip and sticking out of his nose. Hell, even Vince McMahon even broke out of character. Because was truly concerned for Mick Foley's health. Because lets be real he could've die or ended seriously disabled from that match.

5562190
yeah he even talked about that too along with other stuff that happened before and after the match like him talking with terry funk for what he should do his match and all that

5562199
5562172

Yeah. Oh and before I forget. Check this out. TNA Impact 2006. It happened again! The chairs, man! The fucking chairs!! Bwa-ha-ha-ha!:rainbowlaugh:

5562203
okay that's funny

5562203
Wow those people love their chairs

5562384
Well, the 90s and early 2000s was a different time and place. It wasn't so uptight like today and everything within wrestling entertainment was allow for the utter amusement of the audience. To put it simply shit like this gets higher tv ratings and sells the merchandise.

5562386
True, never thought about it that way.

5562389
Which is why ECW and TNA Impact disappeared.
