Missing: "Tale of 2 Big Boys". Last seen: Blog Post on May 8th, 2021........

I know that it's been a long time since I last talked about "Tale of 2 Big Boys", aka the upcoming 4th story in the Battleship Express Saga. I know that I said back in a blog post on May 8th that it was done, and ready to be released, and that I was just waiting on the word from co-author "An Iowa-Class Battleship", but a while passed, and I hadn't heard from him. A few days ago, I PM'd him again, asking if we were finally ready for launch for "To2BB", and he responded, and we talked about it. Unfortunately, I have some bad news. While I'm sure that many of you are aware that we failed to meet the "Spring, 2021" deadline for the story's release, I was hoping for a "Summer 2021" deadline instead, but then Iowa had a different idea. After we talked about it, we agreed to push back the release date again.

Why did we do this? Well, before you all grab the torches, pitchforks, broken bottles, and other sharp objects, let me explain. Ever since the story's conception, it was planned between the 2 of us that we would release "To2BB" once the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2 were complete, which ended up taking a LOT longer than expected! (True OG fans of the Battleship Express Saga will remember that the earliest planning for what would become "To2BB" began all the way back in March of 2018, while "Beyond the Express" was still being written, but wouldn't take on its present form until a year later in 2019, though actual writing wouldn't begin until late 2019. Work on Chapter 2 of the story only wrapped in June of this year, little more than a month ago, so this project really is a long time in the making!) I was all set to release the story, but then Iowa suggested that we wait until Chapter 3 is complete, as that chapter contains a lot of VERY important details for the story that we want out there before we release it, and I wanted a turn with writing scenes for a change, as most of the Prologue, Chapter 1, and Chapter 2 were written by Iowa, though I added some parts too. (No, this was NOT because I was being lazy! These first 3 parts of the story were based solely on lore from "Rails of Destruction"; something that Iowa created, and has almost sole knowledge over. I wasn't really able to write too much, because I didn't know too much. However, this changes in Chapter 3, as it finally cuts over to the Battleship Express and her crew). Yes, I know that a lot of you have really been looking forward to the release of "To2BB", and aren't too happy with me for hyping it up, only to come back later and say that it's being pushed back again, but believe me when I tell you that I was unaware that we were going to push the release date back until we finished Chapter 3 until just 2 days ago. But I do apologize for the constant string of delays, and pushed-back release dates. Work on Chapter 3 will be beginning very soon, and I hope that Iowa and I can bring it to completion before the end of the year. (Don't quote me on this. Anything can happen between now, and the end of the year)

Again, I appreciate you all for bearing with Iowa and I throughout this whole ordeal, and I'll give you all progress updates as soon as they become available.
