I was scammed via Steam · 11:18pm Jul 17th, 2021
So tonight I was eager to start remastering Umbral Souls, but then I get a message from my friend North Bridge via Steam that he'd gotten me in trouble and that my Steam was going to be deleted. I was told to contact an admin, who then said due to some inconsistency in spending, implying I did something illegal, I had to send them money to balance things out which would be refunded.
And like a retard I fell for it: I lost 350 euros before North via Discord came screaming that I was being scammed. The fuckers made me do a Coinbase account through which I sent this money as bitcoins.
I have contacted Steam to get my account back, I've been reinforcing all digital security on my machine, I contacted Coinbase about this, and now I just need to hope I can get my 350 euros back.
Apparently this is a whole new mode of scamming not yet seen via Steam, but none the less I feel like a complete moron. And to any scammers out there, especially the ones who did this: I hope you die in the most ignominious and demeaning ways possible and I'd gladly sacrifice your lives to bring back deceased people who deserve life more than you.
Fuck scammers, they deserve death.
Amen
People like those are the reason i don't fully trust people i don't fully know.
Lemme guess, did those scammers sound Indian/Hindi?

No, they talked via Discord.
