Hey all,
I thought I'd share some of the behind-the-scenes work that's going on. The number of factions Dew and Rusty encounter is going to expand. By a lot. And that's ignoring the faction they just killed off. I decided to throw together a chart detailing what these factions think of each other, just so I'd have something to reference once the factions start interacting.
As I said in my author's notes earlier, I think around chapter 5, this is still going to be a pony-centric story. But I still need to put a ton of detail into the humans just so things remain consistent. And faction interactions, even if they're not part of the story, need to be fleshed out so the factions don't do something "out of character."
To that end, here's a spoiler-free look at what each faction thinks of each other faction. No names, although through process of elimination you can tell that if faction 1 is the cloppers, faction 8 certainly can't be the guros. This is just a peek at the factions I've come up with so far. I'm not planning on expanding the faction list any further, but what I plan and how things work out are often completely different. (Like my initial plan of making Rusty a raider.)
