Hey all,
I reached a decent stopping point in chapter 9, but I decided the chapter was too short to end it there. So I kept going, only to realize my end-of-chapter goal would turn it into the longest chapter I've written so far! I'm making good progress (getting rid of Ema certainly helped; I no longer have to open a thesaurus twice per sentence!) but the length of the chapter means there'll be a larger gap between uploads. It should be worth it though.
I'm throwing a lot into this chapter, and I'm honestly really happy with how everything in it is developing. But at the end of the day, you readers are the one who determine how good the story really is. I love hearing your feedback, it's helped with what I've already written and with my plans for the rest of the fic. My overall goal is to share a story that's entertaining to all of us. I want it to be something I can be proud of, and something you'll enjoy reading.
So thank you for all the support and feedback. Next chapter is at least 2/3 done, and it'll be uploaded as soon as I finish the final read-through. See you then!
