What I said in my last blog post about me going into work on my day off? Well, it got worse.
I woke up this morning, sat down at my PC to eat my breakfast and browse some websites, and then my phone rings. It's work, and they want me in right that second. I don't get in for another hour or so, and thankfully I'm able to keep things under control, but stuff still goes screwy due to my coworkers making mistakes and other departments making things even worse.
I'm just crossing my fingers that two things happen - one, that the problems from today are resolved by tomorrow, and two, that they don't try to bring me in on Saturday. I'm already feeling like I'm depended upon to fix everything and solve every problem as it is, and the less circumstances prove me right, the better.

Raises seem unlikely. I'd rather have more people in my department to help carry the weight.

They are willing to call you to come on your off day to work ASAP, but not to pay you appropriately for the bullshit they pull you trough? Think long and hard about wether they deserve you or not.
