What I expect from Spider-Man: No Way Home · 7:04pm May 13th, 2021

Hello there, guys.

As you all know, Spider-Man 3 will be released this December 2021 and is getting hyped up by a lot of fans with dozens of ridiculous rumors of what will happen. The biggest hype and expectation is the reappearance of Toby Maguire’s Spider-Man and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man in the film.

Listen, I am getting sick and tired of hearing multiple people just begging for their role in the movie although it will surely primarily focus on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Some of them even flat-out said they will refuse to watch the movie if they don’t appear. Are they actually serious right now???

Here’s my advice: STOP OVERHYPING YOURSELVES AND THE FILM! Otherwise, you will all be disappointed because they didn’t carry out your wish, and you will complain and throw a tantrum like spoiled children. 🙄 For crying out loud, have an open mind and watch the movie to see what happens.

For me, all I want to see in the movie is for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to actually be himself and fully mature as a hero. This is coming from someone who doesn’t like the first two films (Homecoming and Far From Home). If Thor: Ragnarok proved to be better than the first two Thor films, then No Way Home will be just the same. Doc Ock and Electro will be returning, so be happy about that.

Even if Toby Maguire doesn’t appear in the movie, I will STILL watch it. I just want it to be actually good regardless of whether the other Spider-Men will appear or not. Please, people need to calm down, have an open mind, and stop acting like children. Besides, even Tom Holland repeatedly denied they would appear, and Andrew Garfield himself said they would’ve contacted him by now if he was actually involved in the film.

Just needed to get this off my chest.

As someone who actually likes Homecoming and Far From Home, and has been a big Spider-Man fan since childhood, I also think this movie should focus on Tom Holland's Peter Parker fully mature as a hero.

Doc Ock... Classic.

I only fully watched Far From Home, but at this point, I’m hoping No Way Home isn’t Spider-Man’s last appearance in a MCU or MCU-related movie. If it is, then it’s a good thing this movie may go out with a bang, multiverse or not. After all, this is probably supposed to be one of the biggest MCU solo-superhero films yet.

Tom Holland said No Way Home will be his last solo Spider-Man film according to his contract. So my expectations are quite high.

It could always get extended for more films, solo or not, but who knows? It wouldn’t hurt to see him as a 2nd-gen Tony Stark, Spoilers: like with Sam Wilson becoming Captain America.

I’m not interested in seeing other iterations of Spider-Man be in the movie aside from Tom Holland’s version.

What I am excited about is that the sequel is happening at all, and that Alfred Molina will be returning as Doc Ock, who is apparently the same version from Sam Raimi’s second Spider-Man movie.

Glad to see you’re positive about this.

Thank you.

On another note, I’ve often noticed a bit of a pattern in terms of the villains that appeared in the Holland films so far and the ones that are set to come. That pattern eventually generated a theory in my head regarding it.

Doc Ock being the same version from Spider-Man 2 definitely adds frosting to the cake consisting of everyone’s hype and theories. Electro being different is more of a debunker. I’m personally hoping there’s the multiverse thing because it's a cool concept, but if it doesn’t happen, even though I’d be disappointed, I wouldn’t be surprised. I’d still probably enjoy the movie, though.

Though an article brought to my mind that if Peter still wasn't fully trained or grown, having two other Spider-Men to complete his training would be fitting.

But again, I'll still enjoy the movie.
