Hello, i'm storiesatrandom, i remember it, so you don't have too. formerly, i was gonna look at the episode babs seed came in. Yeah, to save myself the trouble, i felt it was basicly generic in the bully problem thing, like a million other shows HAVEN'T already done this! anyway, remember in the season premere review, i thought Trixie coming back was not really gonna happen because she was said to come back in season 2 but it didn't happened? wow, was i wrong. the episode did happened. don't believe me, then let's dive right into-
MAGIC DUEL!
Ok, for real this time now that the YUGEOH reference is out of the way!
We see a mysterious stranger (spoiler alert, tis Trixie) as she comes torwords a creepy looking shop, looking for something, when we see the shopowner (who i swear looks asian) who shows her the-
Alicorn abulet.
WAIT WHAT?!
did hasbro finally adoubted another fanon idea? and it's Alicorn?! By the gods, Hasbro has finally desided not to let the Derpy insodent hold them back anymore! HALAUYA, BRONIES!
anyway, the guy said it's the most mysterious and powerful of all magic charms, and Trixie wants it. but the guy said it's too dangerious, but Trixie changes his mind awfully quick. he asked if he wants it gift wraped.
we see Trixie smiling as she claims her prize, then.....
we cut to the intro.
after that, we see fluttershy saying to her animal friends that Twilight is wonderful with magic... then, litteraly out of nowhere!
jesus criest! and i thought she was bad in the seaon 1 finale
or that episode with the dragon
or the entire episode of that Iron Will episode, this moment in particular!
now this! I think Celestia may want to reconsider making Fluttershy the element of kindness.
anyway, Spikes ensures Twilight is getting alot better at this, so the thing goes on, or gets interupted before it can start.
Oh fluttershy, always wimping out.
So Twilight pulls it off rather nicely, and the animals want to do it again! turns out, she's entertaining for the un-named head hanchos from saddle arabia before Rainbow Dash came to warn twilight that......
dramadic effect...
Trixie is back!
Trixie picks on Twilight's friends and her idiot fans out of resentment for the unintentional part of ruining her just to get Twilight into fighting her in a mgaical duel for ruining Trixie, turning her into a laughing stock, and that she has to work in a rock farm (which could explain how the junk she came across that cash) and after the fight, Twilight...... lost. wow, toughest break ever.
As Twilight is away ponyville, a giant fish bowl covers the town and blocks of her friends, forcing Twilight to leave.
Twilight tries hard to practice, but blows it everytime. cause Celestia is unreachable right now, and the episode fails to just have spike send out a warning, Twilight turns to Zecora, who agrees to help. meanwhile Trixie went full on take-over on Ponyville and seriously took control.
back to the forest, Twilight is training hard, but... more or less shorting comings acome.
Ponyville does not have a good outlook, and MAN AM I RIGHT! and i thought Bikini Bottom's transformation to Planktropleis was extreme!
we see the Twilight loyalers deside enough is enough, as they discovered Trixie's secret, and used a clever stragity to outsmart Trixie.
When Twilight discovers, she found out the best way to defeat this, is to be sneaky about this.

That's right, cheat their way one of this.
Twilight and Zecora trick Trixie into another fight with a (spoiler) fake stronger amulet, and outtrick the trickster, and actselly, save her from corruption.
cause of this, Trixie actselly learned her lesson.... more or less, and has gotten Twilight's forgiveness, and Trixie left.
and that, my friends, is prove that Hasbro is still taking our Fanon seriously, and maybe, to heart. i can safely say that-
first of all, it's great Hasbro is finally listening to fans abit and bring back NOT within their marketing campaigns or star-billing priorites, in fact, this felt kinda like the many trixie is back fanfictions seen here, and it's garrintied to ensure a zillion more. perhaps maybe, Trixie is a sigh that she's not gonna be the only character to come back.... though, knowing hasbro, they're gonna focus on whatever new idea they have first before being crowd pleasers, but still, it's great when Hasbro does deside to give us bronies a treat and bring fan ideals to life.... though i really hope THE ANTI-CELESTIA MEMES WON'T BECOME CANON!

If I am basing the episode on this, then I know I was right and that Hasbro has screwed up the Trixie episode.
my only complaint is the lack of crime and punishment in equestria.
this episode shows thats if you have enough power you can do whatever you want no worries.

569093 to be fair, Twilight must've regleted to report Trixie to Celestia. besides, the episode's ending is more about second chances. then again, i guess it would've been more realistic if Trixie answers for her crimes, but that would mean Hasbro would have to bring Trixie back again, and Hasbro does not intent on satisfying ALL of our wishes.
in anyway, it's an awesome episode, and lets remember that we bronies were not an intended audience.

you can argue that the amulet she had made her do it, but i think it made her already bad qualities worse.
if twilight wouldn't report her to Celestia there's a whole town of just-freed ponies that might want to be apologize to or given money.
instead Celestia has no idea that Trixie said that she would overthrow Celestia and rule from the throne of power.
there has needs to be some form of punishment, even if something as simple as being forced to wax all of the royal twins collection of ......things.
she took a entire town hostage, turned them into slaves, made a threat of overthrowing the rulers of a country and just ran away after losing her source of power.
the only reason she started down this path of super villainy was because she was willing to to do what ever it took to defeat twilight is a moronic pissing contest.

574430 Well again, Hasbro doesn't like to make recuring characters appearently, so episodes like this, they want to be strictly rare. if they gone down what you said, then that would mean Trixie would have to come back again, and again, and again, and again! perhaps the thing you said would be made in fanfictions, but canon is about making the practice of good morals, and forgiveness. and prison doesn't sound second chance wrothy, even if her actions are insanely over-the-top. in fact, i think alot of things are left unexplained or un-answered is for the sake of getting us to write Fanfiction about it. they're wouldn't be alot of it if Canon explains everything.

Trixie committed at least three felonies during her reign that was directed at several citizens. she was not sentenced.
a huge red dragon went to sleep in his home that was in a less then desirable location because he was tired. evicted from his home
Luna attempted to overthrow her sister twice. 1st banished then given her power as co ruler back.
chrysalis attempted to secure a supply of food for her subjects. denied and send to wasteland to starve.
discord, controller of untold power, did nothing beyond simple parlor tricks, making stuff fly and light brainwashing while he was free. he punishment?: a fate worse then death, being stuck in stone.
in the case of chrysalis there was no attempt or mention made (yet) of Celestia negotiating a deal to give changelings some love as payment for aiding equestria.
574596 to be fair, Chrysalis also tried to enslaved the ponys and congure Equestia, as well as imprisoned Celestia's student and niece, i think she's beyound neosigations at that point. Reguardless, if Chrysalis does have a sense of reason, she wouldn't thought crashing a damn wedding would've been a good idea. maybe Changelings have a less disireable reputation to ponies? one of the episodes said that all the ponies think dragons are nothing but monsters (though Canon episodes don't really help in their case) and Rarity refered Iron Will as a monster, and the griffion chef in the cake mystery episode proofed not all griffions are pride filled jerks like Gilda. that's why in my head canon, Equestia gets along well with other non-pony nations. to be honest, i am not comerable with the idea that Equestians have problems with non-pony races.
though, there is a debate wheter Chrysalis's true intnetions or origin are still debated now ever since the wedding episode, wheter she was just another generic female villain or a lost soul that made seriously bad chocies, it's up to debate even to this day.

chrysalis may have acted out of pure hunger then anything else given the effects a lack of nourishment does on the mind. as for the reputation, the fact the thought that one you love mind not even be the one you fell in love to begin with is a pretty scary.
the point is I'm trying to make is Celestia has not declared war on or allowed aid to the changeling nation. she is making a bad decision by not doing a thing
given that a attack would allow the quick defeat of chrysalis' now weaken armies and the removal of chrysalis as a threat this would be a good chance to get revenge.
or if Celestia attempted to work out a deal to give chrysalis's subjects love in exchange for a position as a ally this would mean that she forgives them. (makes me wonder what she was doing is Saddle Arabia)
by not attempted anything beyond inaction she is allowing chrysalis to rebuild her armies and make a another go at ruling equestria. this time with the knowledge of a love infused shield spell by a stallion and his wife who are in a empire a long ways away.
is this really how bad her priorities are? ignore the mortals short term because she can come out on top long term?
574888 Hmm, interesting arguement. Perhps Chrysalis may had done previous crimes before the wedding that prevented such things. While i always think not matter what that Celestia is a reasonable and benvolent ruler, she's not someone you want to continuesly con to get what you want. i guess Chrysalis attempted to have ponies kidnapped to feed the masses, and Celestia always stopped it. again, Hasbro always have a bad hapit of making us figure things out for our own, and often times, one's head canon may not match's another's.

celestia doesn't want to made war because shes not a strong as others think she is.
by using the sun as a bargaining chip against those who would dare attack her country she can foster semi-peace between nations of those that rely on plants for food.
thats why she ordered twilight to get the elements, she knew that threatening to not shine sun on the changelings land wouldn't made any difference.
575088 well, to end this discussion, things did ended up differnetly, right? Candence and Shining were the ones who saved the day instead.
reguardless, i don't think Celestia would go that route, nor do i think Celestia is, "weak" in some way. Chrysalis only got lucky because she was juiced up, Celestia would've won otherwsie (and thus lead to a very short episode 2 part episode.).

I have looked at many of the Trixie stories and a good part just pick up in a "what happens next" sort of way. Anything being set down on the foundation would make many impossible. I hope to write a Trixie fic when I eventually get back to writing and I want to just know Boast Busters.
And then there is the is the fact that I can see no way to make it without stepping on peoples toes, which is good. People like Trixie enough to be annoyed at changes.
EDIT: Small complaint. I can't ignore this site for a week without some kind of massive overhaul.
