Stallion of Steel

It's never as bad as it seems. In this world there is right and there is wrong, and that distinction is not difficult to make. You're much stronger than you think you are. Trust me.

    Where've been part 2

If it seems that I've been taking forever it's because I have. As I said in my last blog I was trying to make some changes in my life. Some are going okay, others not so okay. I failed my road test due to a simple mistake caused by a migraine. So now I have to take online courses and practice for 24 hours. Plus I'm trying out some new medication to help my migraines. It helps somewhat, but I have

    Where I've been.

So it's been a while since I did any writing here. There are mainly three reasons for this.

    1. My depression. My depression has been rearing its ugly head again. Luckily I could locate a therapist nearby and schedule an appointment for a session.

    Legion of Superhero Characters.

So one of the upcoming chapters will be based on its about time. After reading some feedback, I've decided this would be a place to introduce the Legion of Superheroes. The story will closely follow their debut in Adventure Comics #247 The heroes are to be presented as follows.

    Update: where I've been.

It's been two...I think months since I last posted a chapter. I've kind of been busy with other things. Mostly work related. As well as dealing with a bit of writers block. I'll try to get Super Bloom part 2 finished this month. I promise.

    Comet Update.

I'm writing this post to inform you that I've struggled to stay motivated with my writing lately. I've just been overwhelmed with everything that's happening in the world. I keep finding myself easily distracted by news stories and the things I used to do for fun, don't seem to elicit joy from me anymore. I thought at first it was because I was tired from working. But now I think I might be at

Idea for a Fallout Equestria fic Part 2 · 4:35am May 2nd, 2021

So around two years ago, I posted an idea for a Fallout Equestria story featuring Comet. It was based on the Death of Superman storyline and ended with Comet dying in battle against the pony version of Doomsday. It was supposed to be followed up by part 2, but the negative reception caused me to drop it. So after two years, I'm back to pitch part 2 of my Fallout Equestria fanfic.

It begins with an adolescent Comet awakening inside a metal tube. He is dressed in a custom Stable-Tec jumpsuit modeled on his costume, minus the cape. He finds himself inside a laboratory that has long since been abandoned. Being underground for so long, his powers are inactive. He eventually finds a working terminal and a diary from a Professor Welshcob. Unfortunately, the later entries are corrupted, leaving him with only one clue as to how he ended up here. A name, Project Haizum. Acquiring a Pipbuck, he heads for the surface, encountering radroaches along the way. Eventually reaching the exit, he feels the sunlight fall upon him, empowering him.

As you can probably guess by now, this story's beginning is based on Connor Kent's origin story and the Reign of the Supermen storyline. 'Comet' is actually one of many clones created by the wartime project Haizum to provide a pro-war alternative to the pacifistic original who was banished to the Phantom Zone. Other characters will include a Synth Comet inhabited by the conscience of one of the scientists involved with Project Haizum. A Paladin of the Steel Rangers who is inspired by the Stallion of Steel, and a Koltonian Artifact given Equine form. There will be a character in the pre-war age. A volunteer who undergoes a treatment involving gene-splicing to essentially become an Equestrian version of the Homelander. He and Comet battle after the 'Hooflander' (Not his final name BTW) inevitably becomes megalomaniacal and begins going on a rampage. It ends with Comet putting him into a permanent vegetative state with his heat vision.

Anyway, these are just some ideas, let me know what you think. I gotta go to bed.

To be perfectly honest, I find a Fallout Equestria plot overdone and would much prefer to see the continuation of your Comet series. But if you feel strongly about this story then who am I to discourage you? GO NUTS.
