Applejack will not be in G5. Even though that series will take place in the future, they were planning on bringing all of the Mane Six back similar to how the Pillars were brought into the future in G4.
However, a crazy person was inspired by our favorite country hick pony to kill eight people, allegedly. I see no understanding of how he was batshit crazy and stupid enough to think AJ would want him to do that, but now its too late. If you read those early leaks, you know Hasbro already hated her. This is the final nail in the coffin for her. They’ve officially decided that she died before G5 and will no longer appear in Pony Life either.
Sorry, Applejack fans. She was never my favorite pony, but I loved her too.
