This has all happened yesterday. Allow me to explain it with details.
I play a few rounds of Team Fortress 2. I get a few kills and die a lot of times playing as Demoknight (the medieval version of Demoman). It's a fun thing for me to do.
Later, however, I get in a server with some players on a Payload map called "Barnblitz". As a member of the RED Team, I play my part and try to defend, always playing as Demoknight, until the killfeed suddenly shows someone of my team headshotted an enemy. Surprise, surprise! They have the same name and the same profile picture I have!
Yep, that's a bot. My other teammates try to ban it out of the server, but nobody votes just in case. At least, until the next round on that same map.
After winning the first round as the defending team (thanks to the stupid bot), we play the next round as the attacking team (with the stupid bot still on the server). During the setup time, the bot approaches the spawn's main doors and stays there, ready to get headshot after headshot, while I constantly hit it with my sword. When the rest of my team and the enemy team get together, it's already clear that there are two "mes": one of them being an innocent Demoknight, and the other one being an evil Sniper with aimbot.
A small time before the round starts, the bot finally gets banned, but not before one or two members of the enemy team dominate him (I actually thanked an enemy Heavy for killing the bot, and he didn't kill me at the moment).
My team lost the round, but for every single player on that server, myself included, it's been another win against the bots. And that's what matters. ^^
P.S: If only Valve would fix that problem, these things wouldn't be happening...

Six months later, and I never got an answer.
Also, for the record, Valve never fixed the issue. I think they've done something so bots cannot take another name, but Aimbot Snipers keep flooding servers sometimes.

Oh sorry lol, i was too busy that i forgot. No what i meant was that this issue isn't new. But basically, valve really just don't care much about tf2 anymore at least not for a while longer anyway. They make so much money that losing tf2 won't really make any impact to their budget anymore. They're probably going aperture science mode now. Where they tried to be the frontline of new generation of gaming technology or something
