Be honest: why do you even follow me? Also: what do I sound like to you, accent-wise? · 12:25am Apr 6th, 2021
Question is in the title: Why do you follow me?
Second: Do I sound British to you, or slightly Irish?
No, seriously, even I can't tell the difference anymore! I genuinely hate the sound of my own voice and wished it was different for the sake of a more immersive fanfic reading.
To be honest, man. I'm Britsh, but also Scottish and Irish so i'd say,,, a mix really. No offence.
I started following because of that cry for help you wrote a long time ago, stayed for the blog posts.
Well, l follow you cus l want to, l don't really have a reason, and from your voice, well l think it sounds beautiful, that's is my honest opinion.
I started following after I favourited one of your stories. I think it was that one about Scootaloo.
I stayed as you seem to be a likeable person who isn’t full of their own ego.

One of my Scootaloo stories? She Needs A Quiet Room With A Lock To Keep Her In? I think that was my last Scootaloo story.
That's nice of you to say. No, I don't have much of an ego. I at least have a sense of modesty, which is what that tool Kanye West should learn. He's all that's wrong with the musical industry. That attitude disgusts me on a molecular level. I'll never turn into one of those types.

Cry for help? Don't suppose you mean the one I'm thinking about right now, the one where I was, to keep it vague, wasted on alcohol and not thinking clearly?

No idea how that could possibly offend me, but okay. Although, a mix does sound appropriate. We're all a mashup of each language, I suppose. Migration, inheritance and all that.
A friend of mine once said his accent, a bit like my, shifts in and out of different tones when in certain moods. If that's anything to go off of?

I...don't even know how to respond to that. 😳
I'm honestly self-conscious about it. I have been made fun of before for my accent now and again, and it shuts me down. I'm not too fond of the way my voice sounds in general, stereotyped to my ears due to my British heritage and making me sound like I'm the factory standard voice on a SatNav. *Cringes*

That story you posted up a while ago.

It's fine. And i understand.
I'm British, but i often vocally change to a near Scottish and then Irish.
For me it just naturally happens. I pitch to both of those accents.
