I just want to say thank you of those who have been on this ride through When the Stars Sleep with me! I started writing when the pandemic started as a way to keep my mind busy and stave off my depression. I had never written anything like a story before in my entire life up to that point, and all the little idle things I made are not at all worth showing to the public. Though, despite that, I found myself enjoying every moment of it.
After nearly a year of these little scribbles, a few friends of mine mentioned they noticed a marked improvement in my ability to tell a story and it helped me gain that little bump in confidence I needed to attempt writing something seriously. I was terrified to put something I made out into the public after all my other tries at creative pursuits died.
Seeing such a positive reception to my very first story despite being a nobody in the grand scheme of things has really helped lift my spirits. I can finally contribute to the fandom that has done so much for me and it feels wonderful!
In short, I just want to say that I appreciate you, my followers, even if I can count all of you on my fingers.
Expect a new chapter of WtSS very soon, and even more projects from me in the future! Even when life starts to return to normal, I don't plan to put the pen down. I finally found something I truly enjoy and I'll be sticking around for a long while!
