Chapter 5 Part 5 Up! (Feb 22nd) · 7:53am Feb 23rd, 2021

Hi to all my new followers! Welcome, welcome.  I will be writing more short things like “Twilight Takes a DNA Test” don’t worry, but you will see many blog posts about my on-going story as well. I encourage you to read it if you are interested in mystery stories as, while it’s a crossover, it is entirely MLP focused and everything about the crossover elements are one hundred percent accessible to those unfamiliar with the material being crossed over. Knowledge of Danganronpa helps, but it is in no way necessary to enjoy it.

Moving on to the blog post proper, Part Five is up now. As most of you expected, the official victim is Adagio.

Trixie taking over as protagonist? That’s probably at least a bit surprising to those of you who didn’t see my comment about it the other day.

A few of you wished grievous bodily harm upon Adagio, which I don’t blame you for. She kind of descended way back into full evil mode, and got her just desserts from it. It… I won’t lie. It hurt to write. I didn’t want to do it to her. But, well...

As stated in my author’s notes, there’s very little I want to say right now because any of it could be spoilery. But I hope you will enjoy the ride we’re going on. We’re going to get two parts to the trial this week, but this trial is, like the third chapter, a three part trial, meaning we’ll have a cliffhanger on Saturday.

I hope you have fun trying to solve this mystery.

Moving on to other things, I’ve got some more writing ideas in the works. A few little short ideas here and there. I’m also tentatively exploring, on my own terms, what Cruise Mode might look like. If I start pursuing it in earnest it won’t start posting until after the main story finishes, and it will be posted as a separate story, the reason being that this lets me do full spoilers for the main story within it. Which there will be plenty of warnings for, of course. And that’s assuming I decide to write it, which I still haven’t.

As for short stories, I’m hoping to post at least one a week. I’ve got plenty of time to write during my work hours, after all. There’s also a couple of medium length story ideas floating around my brain I’m thinking about. Nothing I want to say yet, but they should be fun.

Also, because I was asked on the last short I posted: unless I say otherwise in the description, my other works won’t connect to DR:IHW. They’re separate from it.

Cliffhanger on Saturday? :pinkiegasp: Not again! :raritycry: I spent the whole weekend hung up on part four!

Considering how much of a game-breaker the fifth trial usually ends up being, the fact that it will end on a cliffhanger doesn't surprise me. Bring it!
