No, I'm not dead! ^^ I've been working on the next chapter very slowly. I can't give any dates out, but I can give you guys a bit of a teaser.

"Why? Why didn't you save her!?" Cozy shrieked.
Connie recoiled as he'd been slapped. "Cozy." He began shakily. "There was nothing we could have done. Even if we'd saved your mother, she would've been crippled."
"But, at least she would still BE HERE!" Cozy's voice rose in volume and pitch.
Sasha sniffled softly. Her ears drooped. The fillies anger like an explosion.

Cozy took a breath and closed her eyes. “My heart is pounding.”
Sasha looked at town, her pupils shrunk to pricks.
“That’s not your heart…”
