Familiars of the Princesses

In my fanfic: Exiles of the Empire I introduced Luna's familiar. Each of the alicorn Princesses do get one, even Twilight would have had one. However in this post I will be introducing the familiars as they show up in the fanfic.

First up is Luna's familiar: Night Wing. This owl has two appearances, one solid and visible to the naked eye. The other is her stealth mode, doused in magic Night Wing is able to phase through walls, teleport through shadows, and travel through space. She is connected to Luna's emotions and her appearance will change according to Luna's mental state. Not much is known about Night Wing during Luna's time as Nightmare Moon. Intelligent, mischievous, and kind hearted Night Wing acts as a messenger and spy for Luna. She also has a habit of getting into places she's not supposed to when pretending to be a regular owl and hiding shiny objects.
