A long hiatus and a quick resolution · 2:44am Jan 16th, 2021
Hello to all!
It has been a very strange year. A lot went on in 2020 that none of us expected. I sure didn't see any of it coming. And in particular, the last few months have been a little more upside down than most.
With most of the fic finished by the time I started publishing the chapters I tried to establish a bi-weekly rhythm. As y'all might've noticed... we've long since gone past that point. But don't worry, the story's ongoing. In fact, it's done.
As a result, instead of going with a bi-weekly update for the last few chapters, I'm going to post them in one full blitz. Over the course of the next three days, every one of the remaining chapters will be posted to finally cap this story off. It's been a hell of a ride, and I'm glad to see it through - this is one of the first projects I've ever written where I got to finally see the word "The End." Fallout Equestria has a bit of a reputation for stories overstaying their welcome - I'd like to think that Martingale Fairytale breaks that trend a little bit. I finished the story where I felt it needed to finish.
Are there other projects to come? Maybe. I'm working on some non-writing projects for a bit. I've got some ideas for an older FOE story of mine to maybe see the light of day again, one that involves my namesake pony from years back that I shelved and never came back to.
That's all gonna wait until after this finishes. At noon tomorrow, Eastern time, the next chapter will be published. I don't want to give a distinct timetable to avoid spoiling what's left, but by the end of the weekend I'll have it capped off.
