So Much to Read

So I was never much into fanfiction, less so FiM fanfiction, but one time I was just bored and decided to read Black Butterfly's stories just for the heck of it. I really liked them, they're not my style of writing, but they were fun and engaging and reminded me how much I liked the show and the setting. And since I hadn't written in a year, I got itchy and wanted to write my own.

Now after browsing for a little bit I kinda wish I hadn't started so soon. I wish I'd read more stuff from other people that I could, hopefully, at least reference in passing. There's some amazing worldbuilding done in here, and I wish I'd better capitalized on that. But well, retcons exist! And I'm only just starting, so we'll see. What's certain is that I just keep finding stuff to add to my Read Later folder...
