Killing my Darling

I don’t feel good. I may have to pray for the great George R. R. Martin’s blessing and strength to kill off the main character in one my fanfics that has been one of the most enjoyable and (by my own bias standards) best fanfics I have been writing in a long time.

I shall give it some more thought. Ultimately if I am too conflicted or upset with one choice over the other, I will add an alternative ending where the protagonist survives/dies in contrast to what the first ending will be.
