Good evening, everyone. Yes I did say evening, because I'm apparently incapable of sticking to my own posting schedule. Or maybe we can consider this a New Year's present.
Yeah. Let's go with that. Because it's quite the present, you see.

Surprise! I'll bet no one was expecting that. So, Fluttershy's dead. By rule breaking. Why did this happen? Well, there's actually a lot of reasons, most of which would spoil the entire chapter, but the one I can talk about is that I wanted to do something I'd only rarely seen in a Fangan: that being a rule-related death after the first chapter. Usually if a rule-related death occurs at all, it happens either right during the prologue, to show that yes, Monokuma/whomever is serious about this killing game nonsense, or it happens during chapter one because someone wants to ape the Mukuro/Junko plot from THH. And for good reason, because it usually feels like a waste of a character. And many people feel that way about chapter three double murders as it is. Now, why exactly did I want to have a rule-based death after chapter one?
Sorry. Can't say yet. 
Regarding writing progress as a whole: I've finished part one of Chapter Five, and started on part two. I'd be slightly further along but I'm enjoying my three day weekend by taking a day trip out with my husband tomorrow (another reason I'm posting this when I am) so that slows things down a tad. But I'm loving how it's turning out so far. Chapter Five will be quite the blast.
