My Experience Trying to Make The First Chapter of the Tournament Story · 3:29pm Dec 11th, 2020
Nobody said it would be easy.
So I've tried some potential beginnings, most of them have been scrapped and redone several times, I might show you guys how things looked before. Right now around 2.3k, but here are my main issues (none of them are really problematic and I would be fine ignoring them, but I WANT PERFECTION LOL!)
(1) Wording / Plot: I've written and rewritten many scripts, scrapping many and rewriting them over and over. My wanting for perfection is stinging me but I still want to have something that would be good.
(2) Characters: I want to accurately portray the characters, unfortunately, some characters have little descriptions for them so I had to do much more research like looking at the stories these characters are featured in and even still I'm not their creator so I don't know how would they be portrayed.
(3) E, T, M Rating Clash. This is related to the second point. I know the Tournament will be an M Story, but here's the issue: I don't know what M Tags should be used. Obviously, we're going to have Blood, maybe Gore, maybe Death, IDK about Sex, we're going to have violence, etc, but upon doing some research about the characters that do exist in stories, I've realized that each had different vibes and come from different types of stories. Some from adventure types, others from sex-filled stories, others don't even have a story they come from which forces me to experiment. I'm trying to make this a strength though
(4) I'm mostly afraid that I might have to delete most of my work, which I've already done at some points. I want to make this story strong, for you guys.
Don't worry this story is going to come out, maybe by the end of the year, it'll just take a bit longer because I want it to be good. also I'm going to be drawing the cover for it, so that's another thing to do. and time. time is my enemy
