Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a happy holiday; given the relatively unfavorable circumstances that are attempting to ruin what should be the most wonderful time of the year.
With this year finally ending, I decided to take a step back and look at my first fanfiction. And to be honest, I'm thoroughly underwhelmed. As I'm sure those who have read my story can attest, there is a whole laundry list of grammatical errors and some parts are flat out unreadable. The original idea for was a very random and poorly thought out anthology that I mashed together haphazardly. There was an entire plotline that I added far earlier than I should have, and upon further review is something I wish to dedicate an entire fic to. I just feel I could've done a lot better; and not just as an amateur writer, but as in artist. As I know most of you can confirm, on this site there have been fanfictions that shine not only for the beautifully executed portrayal of the characters we know and love from My Little Pony, but also adaptation of other franchises and the creation of original characters that immerse us in the world of magical fantasy and fiction.
I think I've rambled enough, and as such will get to the point of why this blog post is even here. I've sat down and organized my thoughts and now have a clear direction I want to head in. So in January, I'll release the first chapter of the rewrite.
I won't remove the original from the site, I'll keep it for those of you who somehow sat through the whole thing up unti now and somehow enjoyed it. (Thanks by the way. I really do appreciate your feedback and support.)

I kinda fell off when it looked like mc was going full on BBEG (after the events with lunas adopted kid.) I will say the scenes with Ashtashan were very interesting and I hope you do more with them.

I wanted to incorporate my initial version of him more, but i couldn't figure out how to do it without making the fic about HIM. Now that I've got my shit together, you can be sure that he'll appear a little more often.

Sweet. As for incorporating him. It could have been with dedicated side chapters exploring what he is doing in the home world. But then again I'm a amateur writer at best so I'm probably full of shit on the subject.
