[Political Post] Now More Than Ever...

I know some folks here are probably sick of me talking about politics, and I can respect that. Which is why you can skip this entry as always. However, I really hope that you do not, as this one is especially important.

    Creative Burnout Sucks

    It's been a while, hasn't it?

Once again, I'm really sorry that the next chapter of Paradise Found hasn't shown up. I *have* worked on it in fits and starts, but it continues to fight me. I have a general idea of how I want the chapter to go, but I'm struggling to get the words to come together in a way that meets the high standards I set for myself in previous chapters.

    Happy Hearthswarming!

Regardless of what everybody listening observes IRL, I hope everycreature among my followers has a Happy Hearthswarming. While I must apologize yet again for my lack of output, I wanted to give you all something for your feed.

I hope that you and yours had a tolerable year, if not an enjoyable one, and I hope you and the ones you care about stayed safe. My best wishes all around!

So, I think I might be getting carried away... · 12:48am Nov 29th, 2020

I mean that in a good way, of course! This is the first time in YEARS I've been this invested in my writing. What started as a one-shot porn fic has become porn with a plot. I'm hoping when I promised a "slow burn" I didn't make it TOO slow. As it stands, I have a prologue and 11 chapters out, with a 12th on deck. In addition to that, I have outlines for 15 more chapters, plus half of an epilogue written.

This has become, without a doubt, THE largest single non-roleplay writing project I have taken on since my Master's thesis.

I want to thank everybody who liked and left comments on either version of the story. I want to keep up my current pace of a chapter a day lest I lose my momentum. My one concern is the hectic work week coming up. I don't want that to knock the wind out of my sails!

I would love for readers of the story to provide their feedback either here or on individual chapters. Is there anything I can do to improve the experience? If you are one of the eight (and counting) readers to downvote the story, your feedback as to what specifically you disliked about the story would be welcome too!

Personally, I think your pace is pretty good. I haven't felt a rush in the story events so far.

I'm liking what I'm reading so far, especially the optional chapter .
