Is FimFics text spacing bug local, as in when you type certain letters in the comment box, or when you Copy, Paste text from WordPad into its chapter entry field, which means its FimFics end, or is it due to whatever program used locally or cloudwise, such as Word, Librea, GDocs, being fancy and trying to insert all sorts of hidden formatting codes that accidentally or deliberatly screw up any opposition decoding engine that dont support the very latest encodings in the incorrect way they should do instead of meant to?

City of Heroes patch? They're patching a defunct game?

Bug is on FIM's end, and is even worse than you're describing: It doesn't matter what the author does to their text in the editor, or how that text gets there. It's a *display* bug, which means it can even happen to pre-existing fics that you go back and read which were published before the bug.

Yes! The game got a full revival a year or two ago, COH: Homecoming, and is back up and kicking as strong as ever (stronger IMO, as somebody who still has an unpublished Rarity-centric COH crossover sitting in his drafts since before the original shutdown).

The modern developers are in ongoing talks with the original license-holders at NCSoft to potentially get the game back onto the market, but until that finishes up the game is still completely free and available for everybody at Homecoming's website.
