Part Two of Chapter One Trial Up!

As promised, I've uploaded the second part of the trial Tuesday night.

So yes, our first blackened is revealed to be Timber Spruce! Congratulations to just about everyone 'cause y'all guessed it was him. Like I said in the author's notes, he wasn't intended as a surprise blackened. I have more I want to say about him but I'll save it for my next blog post.

I want to mention again how much fun I've been having writing this story so far. I'm on part three of Chapter Three with my writing progress. I haven't gotten as far into it as I thought I would thanks to work being so busy, but I'm doing my best to keep up and keep things ready to go to meet my publishing schedule. I can say this: Although both Chapter One and Chapter Two will have two parts to their trial each, Chapter Three might well have three parts, judging by how it's developing. I won't pad it, of course. I refuse to pad my stories. If it happens, it matters, in one way or another, even if it mattering is simply a red herring or twelve.

But seriously, I expect to be able to keep meeting my schedule no problem. Chapter Two is already finished and mostly finalized. It'll still need a bit of editing, but most of that will be in the later parts, stuff we won't see for a while. I fully intend for chapter two's blackened to be a bit harder to guess than this one was. Seriously, I'm proud of y'all when it comes to guessing Timber. Well done.
