So uh yeah.
While I was gone, "Sabbatical" apparently a lot of views or something? Yeah I kinda just dropped the first chapter, replied to a few comments, and walked away from the site thinking I could just leave it there and come back a while later.
But then I started getting comments and PMs and messages on Tumblr about when I'd update.
So uh... yeah. I'm sorry. I wasn't even sure if I'd really continue the damn thing but apparently people like it so I guess I'm gonna write it.
So if you're wondering why it took forever for "Sabbatical" to update, here's the word:
I'm not much of a fic writer. I mean, I've done fanfics for quite a while as a mild pastime, but I've only really ever finished one big one and a few small ones. When it comes to the Pony fandom biz, I'm actually more of a musician and podcaster. I've got two podcasts that I work on weekly that suck up a good portion of my weekends. And at the moment I'm currently nose-to-the-grindstone-ing my way through an original orchestral/electronic Pony-themed album. So yeah. Those are projects. And they kind of take precedence over my fics.
But I guess people like this one, so I'm going to take up regularly writing it.
I mean I'm not halting any other projects at all. Nope. Notta. Nyet. My album and my podcasts are important to me, so sometimes updating Sabattical might be a tad slow. But I'll finish it, I promise you.
And maybe one day I'll get back on Patchwork. Got a good amount of it written and waiting to be edited and published. But that's waaaaay on the backburner. Like, until my album is done kind of backburner.
So yeah. Hope you enjoy the latest chapter of "Sabbatical."

Well, I just figured... you'd gone... on a sabbatical.
I can't wait to read it. I just need to get through the one I'm currently reading first and then I'll hop right on it. ^_^ Then I'll finally get to see MB's amazing prose! :O
If there is one thing people love it's stories involving Celestia, romance, and Twilight Sparkle. Y'got a pretty good combo here.
