I'm Fed Up · 9:39pm Nov 9th, 2020

If you wanna know why I've deleted Into The Open Life after I submitted it this morning it's not only it barely got many views of the past hour, but the fact that it instantly got dislikes from a chapter that was longer then 2,000 words, is where I'm over the edge officially. I can tell that those dislikes where the same people who lashed out on me back in 2018 over what I wrote during the first draft if the original. Back then I understand even if it didn't had to be so hard but now, it just shows they never respect anything of what I'm trying to do.

And for me personally, what I did back in 2018, there is still no reason to boast and trash talk about me. If they ever met me in real life, I would make a stand to prove my points just to show how they pressuring me to the point of making me despise their points due to their selfish common sense. If they didn't act causal instead of explaining what I did was wrong, then I won't go against them at all!

:ajsleepy:

Sorry for me being in a bad mood but I'm fed up with this. When they instantly dislike something they never catch me a break nor getting me a second chance, that is where all of this makes me despise egotistical users, telling me that I'm so called untalented. NOT EVERY WRITER NEEDS TO BE PERFECT NOR CAUSING DRAMA OVER THIS!

All this ever does for me is hating everything they hammered in, and no, that wasn't EVER intended to offend them at all! They need to lay off with their attitudes or I'm not taking any of their criticism seriously.

:facehoof:

Guys, this is one of the reasons why responsibility shouldn't always be forced. I do what I could to do the right thing and when I'm trying to correct a wrong thing, it ends up backfire for nothing. All I can say is that the 2nd chapter of Snowflakes Of Past Friendships will be submitted this Wednesday. As of now, writing is starting to become toxic but for the reasons I'm fed up with.

Seems like those people really need to get a life. Sorry that you have to put up with this drama. I really liked the first chapter.

As someone who's been on this site for quite a few years, you shouldn't expect to get a lot of views. Stories that get featured and thousands and thousands of views are lucky or they happened to just pick a topic that gets people's attention. But you shouldn't always expect the same for yourself.

A story I've been working on for almost 9 months now has barely 300 view while story I wrote in 4 hours and post on Halloween got more than 300 views within two days. You just never know what's going to happen.

Also, people always dislike stories for any reason. There was someone that didn't like one of my stories and just dislike all my other ones just because he didn't like the one. You just can't focus on it and if anyone is being constructive, you need to listen to that. Any haters just don't worry about them. They don't matter. These are just the things you can do to become a better writer. But you shouldn't feel bad if a story only gets one view or a thousand views. It's all about improving.

I do agree with your points but the biggest difference between our stories is that my deleted story was actually a reboot from two stories I did in 2018. In college, I learned how serious bullying could effect a person. For the reboot, it's about the child becoming an orphan while dealing with child abuse from neglecting parents.

Now looking at your Halloween fanfic you published a week ago, it's unique to have Spike, Discord, and Big Mac compete to eat the World's Hottest Chip. For people who enjoyed the episodes involving that trio, I can understand why people would enjoy your story. But your story was just a one shot, my story was just the first chapter that I've already finished so when it got 5 dislikes over 2 likes is where I give up.

Just to let you understand, I've wrote more stories then you and sometimes my stories can attract more people or just a few. Last Year after Rainbow Roadtrip premiered, I've wrote a story where Bon Bon and Lyra Heartstrings spend their weekend together in Hope Hollow. Right now, it has almost 320 views while yours had 7 or 8 more views. I still continue writing it because my idea was still good for readers and I was hoping the same thing can happen this this.

And about you saying anyone being constructive, I've been responding to people respectfully to that. However when I do something what a hater talks about, I aspect that from someone who isn't a hater so I can totally understand. As of now, me continuing this story won't fix anything. If your requesting me of what the story from the first chapter is like, I've already deleted the doc of it. That's how much the negativity goes way too far to me.

*Hugs you tight*

I know how it feels when a story you wrote dose bad. I have been there but I wouldn't delete nor try to defend it. If it gets more dislikes than likes, it gets it. If you can't take the pressure or hate then maybe it is something you should think more about. But that is just what I think about it

I would take your advice but after two years of thinking about this, I give up. At this point, I don't even know what I'm gonna write next. But thanks for the advice, at least you understand what I'm going through.

No problem. But as I said, if you can't take the hate then you either need to start somewhere else fresh or move on to other things.

I'm picking your second option. Until we get Generation 5 next year, I'm probably not writing another story involving FIM or EqG any time soon.

Well, good luck

Same, I don't get it too, but we live inna world of everyone in the internet

Sorry this happened. I know the feeling. Had to deal with pro immortal people a lot, they call me immature sometimes. But if they want me to respect their way they need to respect mine.
