Info About Requests and Commissions

I had a blog post about this before but decided it was outdated and that I need to make a new one, so here we go. For anyone interested in leaving me a request or commissioning me, please read on!

I'll be upfront when it comes to requests. There's no guarantee a request will ever get written. My motivation is spotty and when it comes to writing things for free, I'm pretty much only gonna write what I'm interested in writing. If you make a request and it catches my interest, then I have a much better chance of actually writing it. If the idea you propose doesn't intrigue me, it may still be written eventually, but I'll probably be slower about it and it might not even happen at all. But that's the thing about requests. They're requests, not guarantees.

Now, if you want to guarantee I write something for you? That's where commissions come in. I do take writing commissions. At the moment I would prefer to only write one-shots, though the length is of course up to you. Multi-chapter fics take a lot more planning and work, and as I've unfortunately had problems in the past with delivering on multi-chapter commissions, I would prefer not to do those for the sake of myself and my clients. I don't like letting people down. If you want one anyway, please PM me and we can discuss. But I'd rather do one-shots, aka single chapter fics.

I draw as well, and will happily draw you something for a cover art, or story art if you want that. Again, you can make a request for art but that's no guarantee I'll get around to it. Commissioning me will ensure a product. Commissioned art is done more quickly and to greater quality than requests.
