IFP - Celestia and Chrysalis - doesn't need to be a shipfic.

Ideas for Projects. If you see anything you like, take it and make it your own. Most of these have probably been done in some way or another, but they might give you a different idea while reading them or you might decide to use it anyway. Just because it's been done before doesnt mean you shouldn't do it. Yours will be different im sure..

1. Chrysalis used to want to be like Celestia when she was young. Now she is angry at Celestia for purposely missing the final blow on Sombra, and trying to seal him instead. She loses her sibling to starvation while growing up without the empire. So when Celestia gets her sister back without doing anything herself (at least that's how she sees it) she loses it. She violently reveals her kind. What chrysalis doest know is Celestia knew Sombra when he was a foal. Celestia knew he wasn't in his right mind. She wanted to start saving villains instead of defeating them because, that day, she realized most villains are made, not born. And sometimes by made, I mean sometimes they are manipulated by outside influences... as part of a plan from beings far more evil than they... 

6. Celestia hides her feelings to be strong for her ponies. Chrysalis sees through it to the tiredness and pain. Celestia needs a vacation. Who better to get her some r and r than her new shapeshifting (mare-)friend that can take over for a week. Chrysalis gets love,  and Celestia gets to rest. Luna is keeping a close eye. Until paranoid ponies decide that Celestia is acting strangely and things go downhill from there.

16. The colorbugs were a result of an ancient stone embedded in the throne that chrysalis used to turn all the stolen magic in the land into emotion magic chrysalis tried to stave off hunger long enough to conquer Equestria. With it now destroyed there are 2 kinds of changelings. Now there is infighting amongst those that changed and those that didn't. But not all unchanged are bad and not all changed are good... the only way to make more colorbugs is to breed, so the unchanged are stuck without the ability to produce love.

36. Set shortly before Luna's return. Celestia has been acting horribly as of late. Strict, hateful, and is pushing away the student Chrysalis knows she once loved like a daughter. Chrysalis needs to find out why, or this negativity will hurt her already straining love supply.

47. Ponies turned their back on Celestia in her time of need. She never wanted to rule in the first place. She runs off to an old battleground she obliterated long ago, to remember her sins. She finds a bug queen that tells her if she gets put into a cocoon, she will have pleasant linked dreams with them, and help them Survive. She enjoys her new friends. They will NEVER betray her. They can't afford to. Luna tries to find her to make up for doubting her. Possibly a Chrylestia/Celestalis ship. Can be before, during, or after Nightmare Moon.

Everyone knows the truth now. Cadence showed them. Now she is showing everyone else the truth. That Celestia is a liar, out for power. She manipulated everyone around her. She falsified history. She labeled innocent creatures as villains. She had the elements turned into a weapon and were destroyed in the process. She was even responsible for her sister turning into Nightmare Moon. She is overthrown. She is a princess no longer.

Celestia sobs pitifully on the floor of the old castle. why? Why did they turn on her? Even the student she often saw as a daughter... Why did cadence spread those lines? Why are ponies left and right claiming she did things she didn't do. PONIES SHE TRUSTED! She has lost everything... she never wanted the crown in the first place, she wanted... she wants... wants... everything... everything to burn.

Chrysalis watches the world lose its love. 
Chrysalis watches canterlot burn.
She never wanted this... 
One month ago things were so perfect~

57. Crysalis gets her body sacrificed and merged to make a hybrid with either
A. A dying Celestia to save her
B. Celestia's corpse to revive her
And Chrysalis’s soul is either
C. Put in her crown so Celestia can control the hive
D. Put in the hybrid body too, so the beautiful hybrid can argue with herself for our entertainment.

125. Celestia got lost when she was young. Celestia met Chrysalis when they were both fillies. But Chrysalis' mom wiped Celestia’s and Chrysalis' memories and sent the filly home.

127. Celestia runs away after everyone turns on her. But Chrysalis doesn't want LESS love in the world, so when she sees a broken Celestia, feeling her despair, she attempts to comfort her and promises to help her find out what happened. For some love of course... she didn't expect herself to love Celestia back.

to get close, love turned into hate immediately, and Celestia turned on her. Now it is up to Chrysalis to fix Celestia before she turns into Daybreaker.

129. A changeling discovers a plot to poison Celestia. Chrysalis wants to capture her in her next plan, she also still respects her to a degree. Chrysalis sends out her best infiltrator to stop the assassination. The changeling gets caught by the plotters. They say the changeling tried to poison her, and they saved her. Unfortunately for the plotters, Celestia is smart, and her cup has an enchantment. There is a rose on the cup, if there is poison in it grows a thorn and then another for every 5 minutes that it’s Poisoned. The changeling only had it for 3 minutes, but there are 4 thorns...

160. Discord sets up a competition between Celestia and Chrysalis to see who the best mother is. 
Optional: 
A. Chrysalis wasn't as bad of a mom as everyone thought she was, just hiding it. Rekindled her love of being a proper mother.
B. Chrysalis realizes she is a terrible mother to her hive. Chrysalis has to have Celestia's help in learning to be a better one as per the terms of losing.

178. Celestia is walking through the woods and Chrysalis is following her. Chrysalis intends to capture her but stops when she hears Celestia sing the most relatable song she has ever heard, she will name it, Heavy Crown… it’s a working title...
