Another day, another chapter as I'm at nearly 10,000 words for NaNo! Now that our heroes have gone their separate paths they'll have to face new dangers on their own. Find out how it begins in this next chapter!
A quick note going forward; while I am using NaNo this year as my impetus for writing, I don't intend to stop until Alicornae is finished. It's been four years of work making this story, and I intend to get it done sometime before the heat death of the universe. Additionally, since Sun and Starlit are now split up in the narrative the focus is going to shift back and forth between their ongoing storylines each chapter before eventually resolving into the finale. I hope this doesn't throw anyone off too much, but this is where the story has taken us and this is what needs to be done to accommodate that.
