Source AU - Lore Brainstorm - 'Gods'

This is the third post about this major brainstorm session. Again everything here is subject to change.

Again, As with everything else I post... If you see anything you like for one of your own stories, or something that gives you an idea, feel free to use it. I would like to know if i helped any though

Most gods are just mortals with an incredible amount of power, most of the time it's provided by a special connection to a certain part of the Source of Magic Aether, also known as, the SoMA. It was named after the pony who discovered it Somarius (Latin for packhorse). Even if their power wasn't stolen, the 'Gods' are limited by what their semi-mortal bodies can handle. Both of those combined is why Twilight, Shining, and Cadence will struggle so much.

Celestia - Goddess of Day, sun, Wisdom, earth, light magic, and wake/life. People - Farmers, Unicorns, Pegasi, Earth ponies.

Luna - goddess of night, moon, Dreams, sky, dark magic, and sleep/death. Symbol cloak/back. People - Thestrals, Vamponies. And Secretly (only other gods and select mortals know) Shades (Shadow Ponies). 

To do - design shades and their culture.

Cadence - goddess of Music/rhythm, emotion, heart, marriage/family, sex/fertility, and children/new cycle. People - Married, Hybrids (kirin, minotaurs, hippogriffs, etc...), Song Mermaids (siren is a derogatory term for bad/evil one). Formerly (disappeared) - Changelings. 
In love with Shining Armor

To do - design more hybrids, create a culture for the mermaids (name pending), design history for the changelings.

Shining Armor - god of combat, camaraderie, Body, instinct, strategy, and protection/defense/justice. People - soldiers, warriors, law enforcement.
Brother of Twilight. In love with cadence)

Twilight  - Goddess of harmony/friendship, the soul, thought/thinking, truth/knowledge, and panaceas. People - scholars, magus, teachers.

Discord - God of chaos, mischief, entertainment, trickery, misfortune, and troubles. People - Draconiqui, Anarchists, and Abominations, and... Pinkie Pie...

Grogar - Unknown age, God/Devil of suffering, betrayal/corruption, punishment, pain, the underworld, and evil. People - Demons, Undead (Vamponies are not undead)

Insert a name for 'the shadow' - Unknow age, not a God per se... more like an Entity of shadows, vengeance, the subconscious, desire, limbo, and the unseen. People - Umbra, Vetra, the unwanted, and all manner of unseen/rarely seen creatures.

To do - Design a Vetra...

Eris - goddess of luck/fate, personal fortune, growth, satiation, the natural order, alchemy. People - zebras, alchemists, naturalists.

Akhekh- the dragon god of stability, endurance, willpower, work, bones/scales, monetary fortune. People - dragons, dwarves, miners, and the physical labor class (excluding farmers).

Cadence - Divination - Crystal

Shining - Almighty Magic - Abjuration

Twilight - Balance/Twilight - Gray/Silver

Discord - Chaos - Reality

Eris - Alchemy - Enchantment - Alteration

Akhekh - Elemental - Draconic

Dash - Shining

Applejack - Celestia

Fluttershy - Cadence

Sombra - the shadow

There are no ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ magics, it all depends on the spell and the user. All magics have helpful and harmful spells.

(Neutral - has Light and Dark separate variations)

Okay, uh I've been asking about the main character of this idea. so my question is, are all of those people the main character? this is going to be a lot of work, want to talk about it? I would love to, very.

I would love to talk about it, and yes... It would be a lot I work. But no, the 'main' character will change from time to time but it will only switch between a handful of people.

Okay, so what I mean by the main character is. remember when we are telling a story, we are telling about the character. Meaning each main character would have their own plot. which is I believe you already know, I'm sorry if my English make a misunderstanding.
