    Letting Go

On July 14, 2015, Harper Lee's novel Go Set a Watchman, sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird, was published to significant acclaim and controversy. The plot of the story concerns Jean Louise Finch (known to most as Scout) coming home and making the discovery that it is a place rife with bigotry and hatred. It is a realization that shakes her to her core, makes her feel unsafe around her

    Breaking Through Walls

I've never been especially good at doing things quickly. I have to take time to think about what I'm doing, mull over details, make sure I'm following guidelines.

    It is now May 21st

There are ten days left in May.

How last-minute will the annual last-minute Gossamer Gleam Mayternity story be?

    Vote now on your phones!

In other news, I have another story that's already finished, but I'm waiting on some art to post it.

It's a bit short, but stacked.

    For your consideration

Use "cavalum," a creature of Portuguese myth, to refer to batponies.

The concept of "thestral," near as I can tell, is one wholly made up by J.K. Rowling, and we have no need for any of that nonsense.

Unredeemable Evil: I don’t care if Chrysalis is your waifu

A while ago I wrote a ramble which discussed topics related to villain characters. Shortly after posting it though I came to the realization that it had actually drifted a lot from what the original intention was. It was supposed to be about how redeeming villains or antagonists falls flat when there’s conveniently some other villain who can take the fall in their place, but somewhere along the

Upcoming Content: Tinged Sequel · 12:43am Oct 22nd, 2020

A fair few people have expressed interest in seeing a sequel to Tinged. You know, the one where Celestia and Luna do the Nonification thing.

Well, I'm pleased to announce that after an unnecessary amount of faffing about (not that it may seem as such to those here), this is finally happening.

I'm even more pleased to announce that the first chapter is now finished.

But I don't know that I'm going to post it right away.

Long-time readers of mine (on FA) may be aware that I don't exactly have the best track record when it comes to sequential story projects. I've started some that got cut short after a few chapters, I have others that never even got off the ground.

Some of this can be blamed on my poor work ethic. I think a bigger problem, though, is that I go into the story not being entirely sure of everything that I want to do, I get in a couple chapters and then I fumble the ball and I forget about it.

I've got most of what I want to do right now, but there's enough uncertainty that I don't really feel confident enough in what I have.

So to that end I'm not sure that I'm going to upload any of it until I have more, maybe until the whole thing is finished--which unfortunately may take quite a while because I'm due to spend most or all of November on a different project.

If you do want a preview of it, however, the first chapter is available through my Patreon. Base tier (well, only tier now) patrons get early access to story WIPs, distributed through the Discord server.

I hope that everyone who has been waiting for it will enjoy the end result when it's finished.
