I write pony words. Millions of them. Some people actually think they might be worth reading. I am very thankful for that. Also, I have a Patreon now?

    My birthday

Today I turned 32. For reference, when I started on this site, I was a simple college student. Now I'm married with 4 kids. Time does fly.

    So I asked Gemini AI...

To summarize the story TD the Alicorn Princess. The result I got was... interesting.

    1. Fimfiction story: This story involves Peter Westmoore, a responsible college student, who is transported to the magical land of Equis and transformed into an alicorn princess named TD. He faces challenges adapting to his new life and ruling his nation.

    So...

As many of you well know, I'm a father of three. A four-year-old, a two-year-old, and a one-year-old. It's pretty great. Can be difficult, but overall a pretty big blessing. How my wife takes care of three kids five days a week is beyond me, as I have a hard time taking care of them two days a week when my wife goes off to work.

    So yeah...

    Editing help

Yes, I'm calling out for editors again. I want to submit a story to the Cozy Glow contest, and I want to make sure that the story I just wrote for it is good, or "wow, that's a jumbled mess of ideas, far too mean, and the ending is terrible."

Let me know if you'd like to help. Any extra eyes would be highly appreciated.

Random thoughts. · 8:38pm Oct 8th, 2020

I haven't written on the site much lately. I apologize. I'm working on the next chapter of Life now, so that's good. Hope to get that out soonish.

Until then, here are random thoughts.

My son knows his way around all of the child protection stuff. None of it works on him anymore. The only stuff that does is the stuff he can't reach, but if he can reach it, he knows how to open it/unlock it/take it off. It's especially annoying when it comes to the locks under the sink where all of the bad chemicals are.

His favorite songs have only recently become some of those silly kid songs (The Ants Go Marching is his current favorite) when before it was 80s-90s stuff.

Smells Like Teen Spirit is awesome. I can listen to that song over and over again. And I have. My son demands it. He's 20 months old.

The music video for Radioactive by Imagine Dragons is.. weird. No idea how they came up with it.

The last bits of the music video of Shout by Tears for Fears is the same as the end of the video for Hey Jude by I don't need to tell you who it's by. Hey Jude is just on a larger scale.

There is no way that the grandma on the left in the Shout video above has any idea where she is or what's going on.

Civilization V is addictive no matter what civ you're playing as. The pony mods are great, though.

This gives me chills in a good way.

So does this.

Parenthood is crazy and scary enough when you've barely got a handle on one kid. Now I have to figure my way around two come March.

I miss the height of the fandom, especially FimFiction. My wife and I are going through all of our stuff and I have no idea what to do with all of my pony convention shirts. It would be weird to walk around wearing a BABSCon 2015 shirt.

I wish football was better. I hate all of the injuries. I hate that literally half of the Broncos' salary cap is spent on players who are on IR. I think we'd be 3-1 if we were at full strength instead of 1-3.

I also wish I supported a team that realized that there are four quarters in a football game. Not three. Not three and a half. Four.

This clip is hilarious, but it's even funnier if you sell mattresses for a living like I do. But the customer in that clip has an Oscar, so...

The Harley Quinn TV show rocks.

Not that far into Lovecraft Country yet.

I need to write more. But Civ V calls to me. I wish my computer was good enough for Star Wars: Squadrons. It's not, though. Hoping to get to save up for a PS5, though.

Hope everybody is doing well.

"I'd rather not, really."

Let's end with a dad joke.

That's the entire point... according to the Colonial era Brits who are our only attestation of the supposedly Chinese curse. (I looked it up once, just out of curiousity).

Hi. Speaking of Tears for Fears, Head over heels has one of the best outros of all time

Imagine Dragons were originally tasked with writing the music to the Spider-Man musical, before they got booted off for U2.

Radioactive's original lyrics were about the spider.
